Overview
At WindVoy, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains what data we store and how you can request its deletion in accordance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
What Data We Store
When you use WindVoy, we collect and store the following information:
- Basic Profile Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture from your authentication provider (Google, Facebook).
- Trip Data: All trip plans you create, including destinations, dates, activities, dining recommendations, lodging, and flight information.
We do not store sensitive financial information. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe, and we only store subscription status and plan information.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Self-Service Deletion
- Log in to your WindVoy account
- Navigate to Settings > Profile
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Click "Delete Account" and confirm your choice
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer manual deletion, you can request data deletion by email:

Please include in your email:
- Your email address associated with your WindVoy account
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Any additional verification information if requested
Deletion Timeframe
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will process it within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. You may be asked to verify your identity before we proceed with the deletion to prevent unauthorized requests.
Facebook Login Users
If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also manage your data connection through Facebook:
- Go to Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites
- Find WindVoy in the list of connected apps
- Click "Remove" to revoke access and delete your data
